a guy says "masha'Allah" just as I step outside the taxi (dressed in black and white plain conservative work attire).
without thinking I hit his face with my bag (which had an exceptionally heavy book that day :))
he starts screaming how i am crazy and if i don't stop he'll take off his shoe and hit me with it.
I answer back saying he should be ashamed really.
A passerby says: let it go.
funny how other people in the neighborhood no longer care that we get harrassed and think of fights as just mere noise in the beautiful background of their life.
