في 6th of October Bridge, Cairo, Cairo (30.048880 31.220630)
Today I encountered the same driver who has harrassed me on the bridge for a second time! The first time occured app. one year ago on 6th of October bridge going out of town, near Salah Salem exit, at 9 p.m. - there is a section on the bridge where you are allowed to drive only 40 kmh. This jeep Wrangler Unlimited kept flashing the lights, edging closer, finally bumping my rear bumper, then coming up beside me and trying to push me to the right side of the bridge several times. Afterwards he went in front of me at 40 kmh and prevented me from overtaking. I was alone and severely frightened, no other cars at the time and street lights not all on. When other cars came up from behind, the driver sped up and was off. Today the same car - presumably same driver - was at it again. This time on October bridge above Gezirah club. First inching up close, trying to "push" me out of the way, then getting in front of me and forcing me to a crawl. I can only imagine that this person is habitually targeting lone women drivers when he feels like it, and obviously in broad daylight. It has to be stated because he might cause a severe accident sooner or later with this strategy.
The car is a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, dark anthracite gray, with a very characteristic spare wheel cover showing a large white desing of a grinning shark on a dark background, and a small yellow sticker to the upper right of the spare wheel. The license plate reads from left to right: XXX-tha-ye-sad. Photo available upon request - today the light was sufficient.
