في Haram, Giza, Giza (29.993170 31.130940)
I am an Australian and was visiting Egypt in August this year. I was in Sphinx Street in Haram and bought a cup of tea from a man selling tea on the street. As I stood drinking the tea the seller came over to me and ran his hand across my bottom. I turned around and he then stroked my breast. There were other Egyptian people standing on the street at the time, however no one looked surprised or asked to help me. I moved quickly away and yelled at the man that what he did was a sin, and that it was also Ramadan. He looked embarrassed but was not apologetic. In an otherwise wonderful trip to Egypt, this experience has left me feeling very angry, insulted and demeaned.
