At 2:00 p.m last Wednesday, while the cournich immediately before Al Malek Al Saleh bridge was packed with people and cars (the regular rush hour in Cairo) a man tried to kiss me through the window of my car. It was hard to escape because of the red signal (i.e the policeman regulation because there are no signals followed in Cairo). I tried to use the car horn to get the attention of people around me waiting for the signal to turn green but nobody moved a single toe or even cared to look. When I set off, he tried stalking me but I drove fastand he couldn't keep up.
Hint: I wear a very decent form of hijab usually abayas and it is did nothing to me at that moment.
