في Canal road, between Saqqara and Dashur ,Mit-Rahineh, Giza, Giza (29.857000 31.241420)
My running group was out on our annual Saqqara-Dashur run early Friday morning. I was running along the canal, against traffic, when two boys, maybe 12-14 years old, came up behind me driving a motorcycle cart. As they passed by, of them leaned out and grabbed my butt, while making a high-pitched hooting noise. I screamed at them and they drove away quickly, but I saw them make a left turn onto a side road. When I came to that intersection they were waiting for me. I screamed at them again, and they drove away down the side road. Some men standing on the canal road waiting for microbuses laughed at me as I screamed.
In addition, I was subject to nonstop catcalls, whistles, and honking from men throughout the duration of the run (12 miles).
