As I was walking down Giza Street (a badly lit side road in Heliopolis) two guys on a motorbike said: 'want to join us?', to which I responded 'excuse me?!'. When I shouted back at them as they were moving, they threatened to 'hunt me down'. A bystander (a bawab, I think) told me to just ignore them and calm down; he seemed quite indifferent to it all.
