On Tuesday September 20th I was contacted on Facebook in my message boc by an Individual called IG who told me : you're looking uglier every day.
then I replied thinking he was just out to annoy me and I wanted to annoy him back: from you that's a compliment

His next reply was: my aesthetics are sound and i have good taste in everything. why didn't you die like DA and YR???
t'as oublié la règle d'or: ne réponds jamais à un voyou. (the last line in French translates to:you forgot the golden rule: never answer a thug)

Note: DA was a friend from the American University in Cairo and a work colleague who died from a brain haemorhage a few years ago and YR died in a car accident two years ago in a car accident.

I posted this warning on my status and in all the groups in was a member of: URGENT: PSYCHO WARNING: IG MESSAGED ME :you're looking uglier every day...To which I replied: from you that's a compliment...Then he said: my aesthetics are sound and i have good taste in everything. why didn't you die like DA and YR???

He's blocked of course but beware who you befriend! Then I tweeted it on twitter on @yX and to my brother @X who lives in San Francisco.

My friends were appalled and one of them told me he used to live in New York during his marriage but came back after his divorce and connected with him during the Egyptian revolution. He reminded me of who he was from the American University in Cairo and that he was very offensive back then too but his escalation meant that he must have gotten worse. Then my friend told me he doesn't even know if Islam is in Cairo, Alexandria, NY, or Switzerland and that he recently told him he was doing his PHD in Boston at MIT in computer science/physics program. A relative of mine told he he got some information on him off the internet and that he was a camera intern in the film Malcolm X and that he could get his number and address in New York.

A girlfriend of mine approached me today the 21st of September and said he sent her offensive messages a few months ago and she blocked him and reported him on facebook but he reappeared and the common link between us is we went to the American University in Cairo. Then a male friend of mine told me he contacted him also via facebook and threatened to kill him & his family and he blocked him and reported him as well to facebook and that friend also attended the American University in Cairo.

Then I was advised to contact local authorities which I will do after I consult with my lawyer but since I don't know if he is an Egyptian or American resident i also wanted to report him to the United States.
