Walking in Zamalek, dressed in conservative but Western style clothing (coz I'm Western), a group of young women looked us up and down and laughed at us, saying "Oh look we're in a foreign film!" in Arabic.

If I saw two South Asian girls walking along the road, in England and I started laughing and saying "Oh look, we're in a Bollywood film" I would be fired from my job and made to pay compensation to them.

Racial harassment is not acceptable in any context.
