Press release:
Since launching in Egypt almost 3 years ago, we have continuously worked to improve the safety of the millions of riders and drivers using our app. Through our technology, by providing safe and reliable rides in a way that was not possible before, but also by being engaged members of the communities we serve and working with HarassMap to raise awareness and prevent sexual harassment Egypt.

This partnership will strengthen the initiatives we’re taking to contribute to preventing sexual harassment in Egypt, including:
Our commitment to safety is not only limited to this partnership in Egypt —A global campaign to drive awareness and prevent sexual assault and domestic violence was launched this week to millions of people. This campaign includes partnerships and funding through leading global and US organizations like Raliance, NNEDV, NO MORE, Women of Color Network, Inc., Casa de Esperanza and A Call to Men.
In an effort to drive change, we will continually develop and tackle these issues through collaborations, partnerships, and initiatives with the aim of working towards a safer environment for our riders, our partner drivers, and our communities at large.
