at Tahrir Square, Cairo, Cairo (30.044360 31.235690)
I was in Tahrir with three other people and mohamed mahmoud street was still ablaze. We formed a line to be able to move through the dense crowd.
So at one point, our line wasn't moving and we were stuck, but the line in the opposite direction wasn't. The people in the line, who all happened to be men, basically took turns in grabbing(yes grabbing, because the word 'touching' is an understatement)my butt,my waist and brushing their hand against any part of my body they could reach. I tried shaking off their hands, moving as much as I could and even pushing off their hands and shouting at them, but it didn't help. And it happened several times during my time in Tahrir. Not to mention, the nasty remarks and comments I got from some ma2ati3 at the square. The other girls that were with me told me the same thing happened to them, too .
This is not the message we should be sending out. It has to stop!
