While my girlfriend and I were walking across Qasr El-Nile bridge from the direction of Tahrir towards Zamalek, we saw a lone girl standing on the bridge looking towards the Nile minding her own business. Then, came a group of 4 of twenty something year olds who walked passed her and made one of them go to her and try to talk to her. I could not hear what was being said to her. However, it was not pleasant enough since she walked away angrily to the other side of the bridge. It just so happened that a family of 4 were walking behind those guys and they started shouting at them. The boys shouted something back but it was incoherent and it seemed that were rather under the influence of drugs. The guys crossed to the other side of the bridge to follow the girl and so did the family. The girl had to speed up and thats when everyone on our side of the bridge noticed something was not right. Another group of 5 guys whom me and my girlfriend had just passed whilst walking on the bridge, decided to stop and see what all the commotion. 30 seconds, one of them was sent to the other side of the bridge and began talking to the same girl who still seemed unhappy. Shortly after, all 9 guys were following the girl and from there I could not see or hear anything. Later, I heard on that day that a girl went missing from the Tahrir vicinty. I do not know if that would be her or not. But eitherway, I would be very glad to assist and provide you with information if need be. The girl was wearing a Hijab, a shirt (if I remember correctly), jeans, and ankle boots.
