I came home to my apartment building last night, on Falaky Street, a little after 9pm. As I was waiting for the elevator a man entered the building and came and stood next to me to wait for it as well. After a few seconds he asked me for money for food. I immediately replied, "No" and then he asked me again (and said something else in Arabic which I did not understand). I had never seen him before in our building so I asked him which floor he was going to. We only have a few floors and he responded with whichever level. I should have just taken the stairs at that point or waited for him to go up, but since we do have quite a few offices in the building I figured he was going to one of the doctors/dentists and got in with him.
As soon as we started to go up he proceeded to ask me for money again and then touched me on my arm/shoulder. I yelled at him and pushed him away. He then started to grope me and when
the elevator got to my floor he refused to allow me out (eventhough I had already been yelling and hitting him). He continued to grab at me while I screamed extremely loud for my roommates (or for anyone) to come and help. Every time I tried to open the elevator doors he just kept pushing them closed.
My roommates ran out and some men in the building came out and got him out of the building and definitely roughed him up a bit.
